This laser is highly effective for treating a variety of skin conditions and can be used on the eyes, lower face, whole face, neck, or decolletage.
Laser CO2 SmartXide DOT is often referred to as a non-surgical facelift. It uses tiny holes finer than a single human hair to perforate the skin, causing trauma and resurfacing it. This process tightens the skin, stimulates collagen and elastin production, and improves the surface appearance of the skin. When the skin has completely healed 7 to 10 days after the procedure, you will see a significant difference in the tone, texture, and tightness of your skin. There will be no scarring from the procedure and your skin will glow with health.
Laser CO2 SmartXide DOT is also effective for improving the appearance of scars by resurfacing the skin layer by layer and stimulating collagen production below. It may take several treatments to achieve optimal results. Stretch marks, old and new, can also be treated with this laser. The number of treatments required will depend on the depth of the stretch marks.
It’s important to note that a patch test is required at least 24 hours before treatment and your safety is our top priority at Medi Spa Brighton & Hove. The duration of the treatment will be discussed during the consultation and you are welcome to ask as many questions as you wish. Our practitioner will be available to answer any concerns after the consultation. The full results of the procedure will be visible 3 to 6 months after treatment, as it takes time for the collagen to activate and continue plumping the skin up to 6 months after the procedure.
